The Brief

3D Studio Watts pioneered high-resolution 3D scanning in Tokyo, turning people, products, and moments into print-ready figurines and animation-ready 3D assets. The challenge was not capability. It was making the service instantly understandable and desirable to multiple audiences — individuals, artists, and enterprise clients. YF built the positioning and launch communications that framed Watts as a playful, premium “3D memories” experience: approachable for consumers, credible for professionals, and legible for decision-makers.

Challenge

3D Studio Watts had pioneered high-resolution 3D scanning in Tokyo, but the technology was ahead of public understanding. Potential customers saw complexity rather than possibility, and the studio needed a communication layer that made the service feel accessible, joyful, and worth trying.
