Overview
The Brief
Baseload Power needed a story that could make an unfamiliar energy concept feel human, local, and inevitable in Japan. We produced a documentary-style testimonial in Okuhida Onsenkyo, centered on a hot spring business owner whose onsen nearly shut down when a critical pump failed. The film reframed the onsen not only as a place of healing, but as a source of clean, locally generated energy — turning crisis into conviction through one person’s lived experience.
