Overview

The brief

Isuzu Genuine Parts needed global-facing content that treats brand as operational reliability, not product promotion. We developed a three-part video system that explains the QCD promise, makes genuine parts memorable through storytelling, and equips dealers with an educational comparison narrative to reduce aftermarket risk and build trust with end users.

The work

01 / Challenge

Aftermarket parts look "good enough" until failure costs appear later, creating a real awareness gap for end users and dealer networks. Isuzu needed content that communicated genuine parts value in a way that builds trust before problems occur, not after.

02 / Transformation

YF designed the content strategy and narrative architecture for a three-video suite: a concept film visualizing QCD through real operational footage, a dealer support module, and a customer-facing proof layer. Each piece was built to educate and reinforce trust at a different point in the purchasing journey.

03 / Impact

Isuzu gained a cohesive, repeatable content framework for educating end users and supporting dealer networks with clearer trust signals around genuine parts. The suite makes QCD tangible and gives the brand a credible answer to the "good enough" objection before it arises.

What we made

Deliverables

Three-part genuine parts video content system:; - Concept video focused on QCD (quality, cost, delivery); - “Choose Genuine” story video using part-personification (brake pads, air filter, suspension); - Dealer education comparison video contrasting genuine vs aftermarket outcomes; Narrative and messaging framework for global end-user and dealer audiences; Scripts and storyboards for each video; Production planning pack (casting/talent approach, wardrobe guidance); Location and scenario planning notes (kept non-specific in public fields); Post-production finishing direction (edit structure, sound design, voice/VO approach); Tiered production approach recommendation for the comparison piece (animation vs mixed media)
