Overview

The brief

In 2025, TDK held two global townhall meetings: a one-day summer edition and a two-day autumn forum. Both were held on-site in Tokyo and livestreamed to a global workforce. YF owned the leadership communication environment end to end across both editions, from the run-of-show and executive presentation framework to venue and systems planning, broadcast production and redundancy planning. The first edition established the system, and the second reused and extended it. That let TDK focus on its message instead of the logistics.

The work

01 / Challenge

TDK needed internal leadership communication that could scale across languages, locations and time zones without losing clarity. Each townhall had to feel like a broadcast made for every viewer, on-site and online. The format also had to be repeatable, not rebuilt from scratch for every edition.

02 / Transformation

YF built a townhall production system once and carried it forward: a run-of-show and presentation framework, key visual and streaming assets, an opening video template, and a multi-camera broadcast setup with audio, lighting, multilingual subtitles and redundant streaming. For the autumn edition, the same system grew into a two-day program with speaker prompting, interactive audience segments and event photography.

03 / Impact

TDK gained a dependable, repeatable format for leadership communication. The technical side stayed invisible to speakers and audiences, viewers in every language received the same message, and the second edition built on the first instead of starting over.
